Following on from a European business degree early years were spent in business development and account management positions working with Polaroid and Proctor & Gamble.
On joining Danfood in 2005 continued his studies at Bristol University on their Meat Science MSc course.
Having joined Danfood initially on special projects, progressed through new business roles to become MD in 2013.
Leon joined Danfood in April 2017 after working as an Area Sales Manager at Treif UK for almost 2 years. He studied at The University of Salford to attain a BSc in Business Management, followed by an MSc in International Corporate Finance. Back in 2011, his BSc degree gave him the opportunity to carry out a year placement, which he fulfilled at Cranswick Plc, giving him an invaluable experience of the day to day operational activities performed in the industry.
Following completion of apprenticeships in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Richard embarked on training programmes covering Lean Manufacturing and Lean Leadership Behaviours. These skills proved essential in his role as Project Manager at Karro Foods in Haverhill when liaising between production management and his team of production engineers, delivering on-site capital investment to time and budget, whilst resolving key issues on a daily basis.
Since joining Danfood in 2014 Richard has called on all his food factory experience to develop a wide range of service options to fulfil our customer's exacting requirements.

Following an early career in cooked meat management with Scot Meat Products of Bletchley a career change lead him into a technical sales role utilising his experience in manufacturing to become one of the country's leading authorities on curing technology. Jeff is a co-founder of Danfood.
